It started raining just around midnight and continued right through the night. Thankfully next morning, there was a huge under cover area where everything was packed away wet and I mean wet, tent, sleeping bag, clothes… you name it.
Rain and fog all of the way to Hamilton then a light drizzle to Auckland. Once in Auckland everything was hanging out to dry. Caught up on email, travel log, power bars and sleep.
